HANOVER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking on a highway ramp on Hanover Township.
It happened around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday on Route 22, near Route 512, according to police.
The man -- only identified as a 65-year-old man from South Amboy, New Jersey -- was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released., pending next of kin notification.
Police said the driver of the striking vehicle left the scene. Officials said they do not have a description of the vehicle involved.
The ramp was closed as police investigated but has since reopened.
