Man punched in the face inside Subway restaurant; suspect sought

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- A 21-year-old man is recovering after being punched in the face inside a Subway restaurant.

The assault happened on Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of Spring Garden Street.

Investigators say an unknown man approached the victim from behind, hit him and then took off.

Police believe a woman ran out of the restaurant with the suspect.

The victim was treated at Hahnemann University Hospital.
