Police said the 48-year-old was shot with an arrow by another hunter who was pursuing a deer on Tuesday.
The incident happened around 3:48 p.m. along the 7700 block of Green Valley Road.
Authorities said the victim is expected to survive, and the man who fired the arrow is cooperating with officers.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is leading the investigation.
