WEST PHILADELHIA (WPVI) -- A man was left critically injured after being shot in the back in West Philadelphia.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of North 52nd Street.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Police are trying to determine why the man was shot.
