FAIRFIELD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police are investigating a shooting in Cumberland County that left a man critically injured.
Police and medics responded to the 500 block of East Avenue in Fairfield Township around 1:40 a.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

Arriving officers found a male in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
He was flown by medical helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he listed is in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
