It happened just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday on the 8200 block of Forrest Avenue.
Police say they found the victim lying in the street.
He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under investigation.
