Investigators said it happened while a teenage girl was waiting for her brother at the bus stop around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Sunset View Drive, near Smithbridge Road.
State police at the station in Media are putting the word out and are working to track down video to get a description of the man accused of trying to lure the girl.
Troopers said a man drove by the bus stop, but returned and asked if the girl was waiting for someone and if she would like to do so in his vehicle.
So far, investigators have said all they know is that the vehicle is a blue hatchback or SUV.
Officials are speaking with neighbors and trying to get more video, and will release more information as they gather more evidence.
