It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West Rush Street.

Firefighters rescued a man from inside the building.
He was taken to the burn unit at Temple University Hospital where he is in critical condition.
A woman was also taken to the hospital with third degree burns.
There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
