BUCHAREST, Romania (WPVI) -- A large meteorite transformed the skies in Romania from night into day.
The space rock zipped through the atmosphere over the capital city of Bucharest early this morning.
The stunning sight was captured on surveillance cameras from airports to backyards.
The Romanian space agency looked for evidence of the meteorite today, but found nothing.
They say it most likely burned up before landing.
