ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- Miss America 2016 may not be crowned for a few more days, but Miss New Jersey is already a winner.
Wednesday night, Lindsay Giannini of Hammonton, took home the Quality of Life Award during the preliminary competitions in Atlantic City.

Her prize includes a $6,000 dollar scholarship.
She was chosen for her community service, and her fight against distracted driving.
The Miss America Pageant airs at 9 p.m. Sunday night on 6abc.
