KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- Bags and boxes of M&M's spilled out onto the highway in North Jersey, shutting down part of the road until crews could clear the scene.

It happened Monday night in Knowlton Township on I-80 West.

In a Facebook post, the township's fire and rescue said a tractor-trailer hauling the candy rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer.

The crash caused the box of the trailer to tear open, spilling the candy cargo over the roadway.

No injuries were reported.
