Mom pleads guilty in 4-year-old's accidental shooting death

A North Philadelphia woman accepted blame today for her young child's accidental shooting death.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A North Philadelphia woman accepted blame Wednesday for her young child's accidental shooting death.

Twenty-six-year-old Shakeya Holmes pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and related offenses.

It was back in June when her 4-year-old daughter Sani found a gun in a closet and shot herself.

Holmes will be sentenced in March.

Her boyfriend Demetrius Williams is also facing charges.
