Thousands of Costco heated socks recalled after reports of burn injuries

Updated 3 hours ago
More than 200,000 pairs of heated socks sold at Costco have been recalled after reports of burn injuries.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the 32 Degrees socks can become hazardous during high-intensity use.

The company says heat, friction, moisture, and pressure can combine to create a risk for injuries including burns. So far, more than a dozen incidents have been reported, including some cases of first and second-degree burns.

The socks were sold in stores and online between August 2025 and March 2026.

Officials said people should immediately stop wearing the socks and return them to Costco for a full refund.
