CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A mother seriously injured in a Chester house fire last month has died from her injuries.
The fire broke out Nov. 19 on the 200 block of Wilson Street and also claimed the life of her 3-year-old son, Sy-Aire Redd. He died after being rescued from the second floor.
On Thursday, Delaware County officials confirmed news of the woman's death, but further details were not immediately released.
The blaze reached two alarms before it was brought under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
