WARRINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A community is mourning after three teenagers were killed in a devastating crash along Bristol Road late Friday night.

Residents in Warrington Township say they're still in shock.

"It's hard to believe, I can't imagine how it happened," says Cathy Honigman.

Police say the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday along the 2600 block of Bristol Road.

Four teenagers were inside a Toyota Camry traveling eastbound when the driver lost control and collided with a Ford Explorer heading west.

"Tragic night for it to happen on Halloween," Honigman adds.

Monira Parkinson-Cole says she came upon the aftermath.

"It was blocked, right, there were a lot of cop cars, we saw an ambulance."

All four teens were rushed to Jefferson Abington Hospital.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was driving the Camry. He was killed. Eighteen-year-old Aziz Umidovich Amonov of Feasterville-Trevose, who was in the front seat, also died, as did another 16-year-old.

The lone survivor in the Camry is a 14-year-old boy who was in the back seat. He remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Ford Explorer was not hurt.

Honigman says the tragedy hit close to home.

"It's a little devastating to know that this just happened just so close to our house and that the driver was only 15 years old."

While police have not released the names of the juvenile victims, the Neshaminy School District confirmed that two of the deceased attended Neshaminy High School, releasing a statement that reads in part:

"It has been confirmed that two of the deceased attended Neshaminy High School. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the students, as well as to everyone in our school community who is mourning the loss."

Action News has also learned that a third victim attended the School District of Philadelphia.

"It's just really sad, I'm a parent of a teenager myself," says Parinkson-Cole.

Police say the crash was a side-impact collision, with the most severe damage on the passenger side of the Camry.

Residents say this section of Bristol Road can be difficult to navigate, especially at night.

"We would like to see speed controls too in this area, 35 is never done and there's a lot of deer in the area too, so you got to be careful of that," says Honigman.

"There's a bit of a dip as you're going down the road and if you're, it's dark, right, that area isn't particularly well lit, so if you're not familiar with the road, it could be a little dangerous," Parkinson-Cole adds.

As investigators continue working to learn more about what exactly happened that night, Bucks County DA Jen Schorn says she is heartbroken for everyone involved.

"My heart and prayers go out to the families of the three deceased, and I'm praying that the youngest of the individuals in the vehicle pulls through," said Schorn.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to contact Warrington Township Police.
