PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Visitors of the Philadelphia Zoo will get to see its new home for endangered bears beginning on Thursday.
The Francis J. Carey Bear Country opens to the public at 11:30a.m.
The $25 million facility includes upgraded habitats, indoor and outdoor den spaces, and a new Zoo360 trail for bears to explore.
Carey Bear Country is the zoo's largest project in more than a decade.
It will help enhance its animal care program.
