Cannonball, set to open this summer, occupies a 30,000-square-foot building that once housed the Otis Elevator Company.
Inside, a giant glass wall overlooks Frankford Avenue, separating the lounge from a garage designed to store high-end vehicles. The space also includes a restaurant and a 55-foot bar that looks down into the garage.
Owner Chris Allen said the club will also feature a coffee bar open to the public.
He described Cannonball as a response to shifting social habits.
"Today everybody is locked into their phones, working remote, and while that's awesome and the flexibility is awesome, we also wanted to create a place that's conducive to that, but also a space that's conducive to meeting new people and sharing a genuine real experience," he said.
The venue will include co-working suites, with members able to access the space daily.
Cannonball also plans to host ticketed events and offer private rentals.
This will be the company's second location, with the first located in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.
A soft opening is expected in June.
