BARNEGAT LIGHT, N.J. (WPVI) -- A New Jersey Coast Guard crew sprang into action to save an injured fisherman and the dramatic rescue was captured on video.
It happened just off the coast of Barnegat Light, Ocean County Wednesday.

The crew lowered a basket from a helicopter to pick up the 49-year-old fisherman, who severely injured his hand.
He was taken for treatment at a hospital in Atlantic City.
