TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy gave his final State of the State address in Trenton on Tuesday afternoon.

He reflected on the legacy he is leaving behind.

"We passed a law nearly doubling the minimum wage and built the fastest-growing economy in the entire Northeast, all at the same time," said Murphy.

The governor says he is leaving the Garden State, "stronger and fairer" than when he took office.

Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill will be sworn into office next Tuesday, January 20.
