He was arrested last Friday on charges related to possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
According to court documents, Paulino is accused of filming a Zoom recording of a child in a bedroom and sending the video to himself. The alleged crime occurred during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic while students were learning remotely.
"Mr. Paulino categorically denies committing any crime; let's make that abundantly clear," said his defense attorney, Robin Kay-Lord, on Friday.
Judge Sherry Wilson released Paulino on several conditions, including no contact with the alleged victim, no contact with anyone under the age of 18 and he must delete all social media and file-sharing apps on his electronic devices.
