PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Wingstop employee is speaking out after being grazed by a bullet during a shooting at the restaurant's City Avenue location Sunday evening. The store was packed with customers, including children, when the violence broke out.

The incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. in the 7600 block of City Avenue. According to police, the confrontation began when employees asked two individuals to leave after they were seen using marijuana inside the store.

"We just asked him to step outside and do whatever he was doing - rolling his weed," the victim told Action News.

Surveillance video shows the suspects - an alleged shooter and an accomplice - arguing with employees before the situation escalated. One of the suspects allegedly threatened to kill the staff.

"He said he was gonna kill us," the employee recalled.

Moments later, one of the suspects threw a glass bottle at another employee and fired a gun while walking out of the store.

The 43-year-old victim, who asked not to be identified, was grazed by a bullet on her side.

Police released clear images of the suspects, who were last seen fleeing in a white vehicle, possibly a Volvo S60. Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals, noting their distinctive clothing and braided hairstyles.

"If they can go to warp speed like that, no one is safe in this city with them around," said Capt. James Kearney of the Philadelphia Police Department's Shooting Investigative Group.

Kearney added that the suspects may live in the area and urged community members to come forward with any information.

The suspects reportedly ordered a six-piece boneless combo under the name or initial "V."

The injured employee said she remains shaken by the incident and is seeking counseling.

Anyone with information can call or text Philadelphia police at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip online.
