New Castle County police say 29-year-old David Lewis repeatedly stabbed 60-year-old Valerra Lewis inside a home on Three Rivers Court in Newark on Friday night.
Lewis is also accused of trying to destroy the evidence with cleaning supplies.
He faces several charges, including first-degree murder.
