NJ Turnpike clear after truck crash, fire

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- All lanes of the northbound New Jersey Turnpike are back open in Mercer County after a truck crash and fire.

The incident happened on the inner lanes of the highway in Hamilton Township on Wednesday morning.

There was no word on what caused the crash.

One minor injury was reported.

Video from Chopper 6 showed the burned-out truck stopped on the shoulder.

Some vehicles were getting by on the opposite shoulder.



It took crews about an hour and a half to clear the wreckage and clean up the road from the remnants of the fire.
