ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A local police department had a friendly challenge and let's just say things got a little hairy.
But it was all for a good cause.

Atlantic City Police Chief Henry White invited his officers to take part in a No-Shave November.
Quite a few answered the call and today they posed for a photo before chopping off the extra facial hair.
Together they raised 23 thousand dollars for "No-Shave November" which raises money for cancer prevention and to fight cancer.
