That excitement was showcased today on the Ocean City Boardwalk, as they held their very own Eagles parade to kick off the upcoming Football season.
"I think it's a really good chance for everyone to meet new people and see new faces. Get to see the Eagles cheerleaders, get everyone excited for the home opener...Just the love for the city, city of brotherly love...sharing the same love for all the teams that we have," said Eagles Cheerleader, Dalton Walsh.
"I grew up in Ocean City, so I just love everything we stand for. We organize events... and then to see everybody having a great time and just enjoying what we put together, leaves a self-satisfaction as a city employee that we can give that back to people...making lifelong memories that they talk about at family events forever," said Michael Allegretto, Aid to the Mayor of Ocean City.
