PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating an altercation that left an off-duty Philadelphia police officer injured on Tuesday.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 32nd Street in South Philadelphia, according to investigators.
The officer was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.
A suspect was taken into custody.
Further details were not released Tuesday night.
