RADNOR TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A police officer collided with another vehicle while responding to a call about a fleeing intoxicated individual on Thursday night in Radnor Township.
Chopper 6 was overhead shortly before 10:30 p.m. as King of Prussia Road and Lancaster Avenue were shut down during the investigation.
Officials told Action News the officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered a broken leg and was hospitalized in stable condition, authorities said.
Police confirmed the suspect involved in the original call was taken into custody. Charges are expected to be announced on Friday.
