Pedestrian struck, killed while crossing street in Ewing Township, New Jersey

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck by two vehicles in Ewing Township, New Jersey, late Sunday night.

The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. at 6th Street and Olden Avenue.

Police say 41-year-old Krystle Tomlin from Trenton, New Jersey, was in the northbound curb lane of Olden Avenue when she was struck by a Toyota Tacoma, which was being driven by a 21-year-old Egg Harbor Township resident.

She was then struck by a second vehicle that was being driven by a 39-year-old Trenton resident in the northbound passing lane.

Debris from Tomlin's bag and personal items could be seen strewn across the street.



She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of both vehicles involved remained at the scene and are cooperating with authorities.

The crash remains under investigation.
