NORTH WALES, Pa. (WPVI) -- Governor Josh Shapiro was in Montgomery County on Wednesday, to sign legislation that your kids will love.
Shapiro signing a mandatory recess bill at North Wales Elementary School.
The policy was part of his budget plan, requiring that public school students in kindergarten through 5th grade are guaranteed 30 minutes of recess each day.
The recess must be play-based learning, encouraging screen-free activities and being outdoors whenever it's possible.
