EASTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Lehigh Valley man has been sentenced to up to two years in state prison for attempting to injure dogs.

Joseph Janko-Hudson pleaded guilty to charges of cruelty to animals and aggravated cruelty to animals.

Prosecutors say Janko-Hudson placed fish hooks and a razor blade inside dog treats that were found earlier this winter on the streets of downtown Easton. At least one dog was injured as a result.

A judge ordered Janko-Hudson to pay restitution to the dog's owner.
