Senator John Fetterman is shutting down rumors that he plans to leave the Democratic Party.
In an op-ed, Fetterman said he has "no plans" to become a Republican, but believes both parties need to work across the aisle.
The Pennsylvania democrat said his party is "fractured" and can't simply oppose everything Donald Trump does.
Fetterman's moderate positions, firm support for Israel in the war, and willingness to work with Republicans have fueled speculation about a possible party switch.
He also said he'd be a terrible Republican who'd vote overwhelmingly with Democrats.
