NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania leaders showcased a new tool on Tuesday that they say is aimed improving protections for the state's oldest residents.

Department of Aging Secretary Jason Kavulich held a roundtable discussion in Norristown, highlighting what he calls "CAPE."

The Comprehensive Aging Performance Evaluation tool is designed to improve services for older adults, and build both transparency and accountability into the system.

Service providers also got a chance to give input into how to better meet seniors' needs.
