It happened around 12:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of New Street.
Police say two vehicles were involved.
The one vehicle detectives believe was at fault ended up catching fire, trapping the driver inside.
Two people were inside the other car.
The crash also knocked down a utility pole, leaving live electrical wires in the middle of the road.
Three people were taken to the hospital, but there is no word on their conditions.
No word yet if anyone will be cited or charged.
