Flames broke out around 9:30 p.m. on the 100 block of 5th Street in Slatington Borough, Pennsylvania.
It took firefighters one hour to get the fire under control.
Drone video shows crews climbing up a ladder to get into the second floor of the home.
There's no word yet on the condition of the person injured.
