PPA reminds drivers school zone speed cameras are in effect

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Parking Authority is cracking down on drivers speeding in school zones as some students begin a new school year on Monday.

The PPA is reminding drivers that full enforcement of its school-zone speed cameras is now in effect.

There is no warning period.

The cameras are currently outside four city schools.



Tickets will only be issued when flashers are active during morning and afternoon school hours.
