He was a fixture on KYW1060 news radio for 35 years.
Many remember his voice giving school closing numbers during the morning drive.

Donahue was also the voice of Temple Owls basketball and Temple football for decades. He also called games for the Philadelphia Stars USFL team, lent his voice to NFL Films, Eagles preseason games, Atlantic-10 basketball and the 76ers.
He was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
