PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- When it comes to this Philly soccer club, teammates can kick around the ball knowing they all have something in common.

"My biggest thing is I want to see everybody feel like they are able to be included, find new friends... learn the game, and play it the same way I've grown up with it my whole life," said Club President, Gabby Stacy.

They serve the LGBTQIA+ community, and foster friendships with those they have similarities with.

"I just felt like it was really empowering to see folks who were completely comfortable with being themselves and no discouragement for being exactly who they were," said Stacy.

They are currently planning events for "Pride House International" when FIFA hosts matches in Philadelphia next year.

"Finding the Falcons twenty years ago was like finding a home that I didn't know existed...It's been such a good experience playing in a space where I feel respected, accepted, loved," said Monika Kruemmling of Mount Airy, Philadelphia.
