Airport officials say they expect to see upwards of 9.5 million passengers during the summer.
It will be one of the busiest summers on record for Philadelphia, with FIFA World Cup matches, America's 250th birthday celebration and the MLB All-Star Game all coming to town.
During a news conference on Wednesday, officials were asked about any potential impact of rising jet fuel costs.
"As of today, we are still anticipating a very big summer and we have not seen any real impact to the schedule yet because of jet fuel costs," said Kate Sullivan, PHL Chief Commercial Officer.
PHL officials also announced upcoming additions to the airport, including new art installations and even live music performances.
