Philadelphia Music Alliance welcomes new inductees to Walk of Fame

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Music Alliance inducted a new class of artists to its Walk of Fame.

This year's list spans generations of creatives who have contributed to the city's musical identity.

Honorees getting their star on the Walk of Fame include Philadelphia Orchestra Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin, the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, Grammy-winner Adam Blackstone, DJ Lady B, and Pablo Batista.

The Walk of Fame along Broad Street's Avenue of the Arts features nearly 200 bronze commemorative plaques honoring Philadelphia-area musicians.

New plaques for the class of 2026 were revealed on Wednesday afternoon in front of the Kimmel Center.



The Music Alliance will also present Philadelphia drummer Earl Young with the lifetime achievement award.
