The shooting happened in the early morning hours of May 23 on the 500 block of North 11th Street at a gathering held at an apartment rental.
Investigators say four of the five suspects were captured on camera prior to the shooting.
Police said the gathering was attended by high school students, though they have not identified which school.
Investigators say there was some kind of disturbance that ended with the shooting.
Five people were shot in the incident. Police identified the deceased victim as 21-year-old Joseph Sumpter, who investigators say was not involved in the disturbance.
"The victim in this case was a total innocent bystander," Walsh said.
