PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Students from three Philadelphia schools gathered in Fairmount Park this Tuesday for a day of learning about the environment.
The event for 4th through 6th graders was part of the 'Environmental Literacy Student Summit' at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Centers.
Ellwood Elementary School in East Oak Lane, Penn Alexander School in West Philadelphia, and Henry C. Lea Elementary School in West Philadelphia all participated in the hands-on lesson.
