Victim identified in deadly multi-vehicle crash on Lincoln Drive in East Falls

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- At least one person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's East Falls neighborhood.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Lincoln Drive near Gypsy Lane.



Police say a white Toyota 4Runner was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lane, striking a black Mercedes-Benz C-300 head-on before colliding with a black Nissan Rogue.

The Toyota overturned multiple times, ejecting the driver onto the roadway. The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.



He has been identified as Eric Sullivan, 65, of the 400 block of East Rittenhouse Street.

The occupants of the Mercedes-Benz, which included a 45-year-old male driver, a 36-year-old female passenger, and an 8-year-old female passenger, were all transported to Lankenau Hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue was taken to the hospital with injuries. That driver's condition is unknown.

The investigation remains ongoing.
