Philadelphia Water Dept. truck among multiple vehicles involved in Hunting Park crash

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia Water Department truck was among multiple vehicles involved in a crash on Wednesday afternoon in the city's Hunting Park section.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Erie Avenue, B Street and Whitaker Avenue.

Video from Chopper 6 showed heavy front-end damage to both the Water Dept. truck and a silver vehicle.

A damaged BMW could also be seen nearby.

There has been no immediate word on any injuries.



The cause of the crash is under investigation.
