PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There won't be any weeklong discount promotions for diners in Center City this fall.
For the first time in more than 20 years, the Center City District Restaurant Week -- which typically takes place right now -- is not happening.
Instead, the semi-annual promotion, where dozens of restaurants offer discounted meals, is set to return in January, which is typically a slower time.
A district spokesperson said they have been shifting to other programs to attract people, like "Open Streets" and "Let's Do Lunch."
