Latasha Harrison and her fiancé, Andre, first met as students at Bok High School in 2004.
Now parents to 1-year-old Dash and expecting their second child in October, they wanted a memorable way to learn their baby's gender.
They chose the iconic lights of Boathouse Row and invited 40 friends and relatives to witness the moment.
When the lights flashed pink, the message was clear: It's a girl!
"The moment just took over, and I could not control my emotions; nobody could! You could hear the loud screaming, excitement, it was amazing," Harrison said.
Little Demi Latanya is expected to arrive in early October.
