PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was taken into custody by police after an incident on an I-95 ramp on Tuesday afternoon in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.

It happened just before 2 p.m.

Investigators focused on the I-95 southbound ramp from Aramingo Avenue, where they found a silver Ford Taurus with a flat tire, a smashed windshield and what appeared to be a bullet hole.

Officials confirmed that at least some of the damage on the vehicle had been present earlier in the day, when police previously came into contact with the car for an unrelated incident.

Police say the driver claimed he may have been forced off the road or chased in a possible road rage situation.

However, the circumstances remain under investigation.
