Police investigating possible road rage shooting in Philadelphia's Fox Chase section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a possible road rage shooting in Philadelphia's Fox Chase section.

Officers received a 911 call around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday about a person with a gun.

Police say a 46-year-old man driving a grey Hyundai Sonata got into a verbal argument with a driver in a white Ford pickup truck near Pine Street and Oxford Avenue.

At one point, the driver of the Ford allegedly pulled out a gun and fired shots toward the driver in the Hyundai, hitting the rear driver's side window.

The suspect then fled the scene.



The driver in the Ford is described as wearing a white t-shirt with tattoos on his neck.

Police were not able to locate a scene and the victim was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
