The victm has been identified as 29-year-old Rigoberto E. Hernandez Arias, according to officials.
Officers were called to the 2400 block of South 4th Street in Allentown, where they found Arias lying unresponsive on the roadway. He was rushed to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
The coroner's office said Arias died from blunt force injuries and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities have not said whether the driver involved is facing any charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
