Crews responded to the 1700 block of Fairview Avenue in Abington just before 3 a.m.
When they arrived, they found heavy fire on the second floor of the home.
Firefighters said it took them an hour to bring the flames under control due to the clutter inside and trees covering the house outside.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
