NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A reported 'potential campus safety incident' at the University of Delaware in Newark has been resolved, officials said Tuesday afternoon.
Gore Hall, Sharp Lab and Mitchell Hall were evacuated as a precaution, officials said.
Normal activity can now resume, university officials said.
No details were provided as to what prompted the police and emergency response that could be seen from Chopper 6.
